“Fringed Gentian” – Framed Original Watercolor

For wildflower lovers, fringed gentian is a rare treat.  Here it is shown mixed with barberry leaves in their fall colors and with other plants in soft greens and yellows.   This original watercolor was painted from slides that were probably taken in the 1950s by my husband’s father.  He loved wildflowers like I love them.
